We are pleased to offer our first-ever medical scholarship for those who are currently in their Junior Year and are attending Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
The purpose of the scholarship is to bring awareness about Illinois’ Safe Haven Law.
Requirements for applying for the scholarship:
Open to Juniors who are attending Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science
Able to submit graphics, videos or pictures based on the specific criteria
Complete the online Scholarship Application by February 28, 2026
All submissions will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee and voted on for awards in each category. Scholarship winners will be notified if they have won a scholarship by March 28, 2026.
This year, we will be awarding five scholarships of $2,000 each
By submitting your work, you agree to allow the Save Abandoned Babies Foundation to use your essay, video or artwork for the purposes of promoting the Safe Haven law.
Elizabeth Coulson, Former Illinois State Representative, was the chief sponsor of the Safe Haven Law in 2001. She was also the chair of the Physical Therapy Department at the Rosalind Franklin University.
